Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of UniRoute.
Last updated: 2026-08-06
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UniRoute's website, console, and API (the "Service"). By creating an account or calling the API, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
UniRoute provides a unified API gateway that routes your requests to third-party AI model providers. We may add, deprecate, or remove models as upstream availability changes; material deprecations are announced in advance where possible.
2. Accounts and API keys
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your API keys secret.
- You are responsible for all activity under your keys. Revoke compromised keys immediately from the console.
- One account may not be used to resell access to the Service itself without a written agreement.
3. Billing
- The Service is pay-as-you-go: you top up a balance and each API call deducts its listed price.
- Prices are published per model on the marketplace and may change with upstream pricing; changes apply only to future calls.
- Credits never expire and are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Failed generations (upstream errors, content refusals before output) are not charged.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or the acceptable-use policies of upstream model providers.
- Generate illegal, harmful, or rights-infringing content.
- Generate sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content, including content involving minors (reportable to authorities) — see our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Create face-swap, deepfake, or face-manipulation content.
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service or its upstream providers.
- Circumvent rate limits, metering, or billing.
Prompts for image and video generation are screened by automated content moderation before generation. We may suspend accounts that violate this section, with notice where practicable.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to your prompts and generated outputs. We claim no ownership and apply zero data retention to routed requests (see the Privacy Policy).
6. Availability and liability
- We target 99.9% monthly uptime. The Service is otherwise provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for the content, availability, or policy changes of upstream model providers.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the "Last updated" date constitutes acceptance. Material changes are announced by email or in-console notice.
